Diablo's fermentation process creates a spirit naturally high in esters, responsible for the bold, fruity and funky aromas prized by rum enthusiasts.
In the rum world, this distinctive character is often called 'funk', producing notes of tropical fruit, florals and earthiness.
We retain that character through distillation before adding cinnamon, orange peel, caramel, raisin and subtle vanilla.
The result is a bold, complex spiced rum that still tastes of rum.

The high-ester character of the rum, combined with our spice blend, gives Diablo a powerful nose, strong flavour and long finish.
